Here are a few potential causes of your acute joint pain.

Bursitis is another inflammation, more specifically of a fluid-filled sac called a bursa. The busra lies between the skin and the tendon or between a tendon and a bone. The pain from bursitis can come intensely or in a dull and chronic form in your joints.

Chondromalacia patella is the break town of tissue underneath the kneecap bone, or patella. If this occurs in teenagers it is an overuse problem. This usually occurs in females who are often runners. People who injured their patella may in the future be susceptible to this cause of joint pain.

Osteomyelitis is another bacteria caused infection that leads to significant joint pain. When this bacteria spreads to the bone, the joint feels the effects. Sometimes trauma to a bone may open the way for the bone to be susceptible to Osteomyelitis.
